Wedding Inspiration – Guest Blog

Stacey Hartley – To Be Revealed Styling

Are you looking for wedding inspiration? Today’s guest blog is all about styling your wedding, from colours to particular themes, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Stacey from To Be Revealed Styling on a number of occasions and today she share’s with us a little bit about her, what she can offer to couples looking for wedding inspiration along with her predictions for next season

Boho Lux Styling

Lets start at the beginning, Stacey can you tell me a little bit about you

I actually trained as a dancer and theatre performer from about the age of 8 and studied this up to Masters level. I worked across Theatre, TV and Film for 9 years whilst training and afterwards but I have always loved fashion and style so when I left university the first time I started working as a Visual Merchandiser for Topshop/Topman and then Cath Kidston. I loved creating spaces and styling for the mannequins and everything that went along with the creative side of VM plus I got the opportunity to travel across the country doing new store set ups

My styling dream was fully realised when I was doing my MA degree and wasn’t very happy. I noticed all I wanted to do was create visual things and installations so looking for a new outlet, I started doing a wedding planning and styling course online. From doing that it made me really think about what I loved and that I needed to really go for this to be happy and fulfilled

How would you describe what you do

I create bold, elegantly edgy style and design for lovers, dreamers and believers! Colour filled, lively, floral and print inspired style for interiors, weddings and brands. My style is statement led, detail orientated storytelling for those who are unapologetic about who they are or what they do and want some vibrancy in their life. My style is full of colour, full of dramatic details and full of life!

What services can you offer to your couples?

  • Interior Styling – shops, homes, brands, spaces & editorials
  • Wedding Styling – Full styling and design & On the day coordination
  • Brands – styling for shoots, product launches and campaigns

What are the key benefits for a couple to work you you?

There are so many benefits to hiring a stylist. Having a stylist means taking that added pressure and time away from you. We save you from the stresses of having to create and execute a vision for your day, I can take your wedding inspirations and turn them into reality. A stylist is there to understand what you imagine and want and to execute and bring it to life for you. We can also save you money by sourcing from our own recommended suppliers and knowing exactly where to find the perfect styling items for you

Hiring a stylist means being able to relax knowing that everything is taken care of. That on the day everything will be how you imagine and a professional is there to setup and style your day to perfection

Working with me – I offer an initial FREE 30 MINUTE CONSULTATION where we can zoom call or meet in person and just get to know one another. You can discuss what you are thinking and see what i can do for you.

I create design and styling on a bespoke basis. I work closely with my clients to understand them and create something unique to them. I have a strictly no carbon copied design rule – I only create real, meaningful and storytelling led styling that reflects exactly who a couple is.

What is your style?

I am a huge lover of moodier concepts BUT I love the Boho Luxe vibe in any form. Real, relaxed and emotion filled. Style that has substance. I love how creative couples are becoming and how big they are thinking with ideas. Embracing more colour filled concepts, relaxed atmospheres and own traditions.

My favourite trends –

  • Floral Installations – from tables to backdrops to hanging decor
  • Unique Backdrops – Draped fabrics, neons and mini installations
  • Grazing Platters and stations – They look stunning and are so practical
  • Small & Intimate – Emotional and raw

Celestial Wedding Inspiration

Predictions –

  • Colour wise i think we will continue to see more vibrant colours creeping in. Oranges, Pinks, Reds and greenery but in unexpected ways.
  • Blue will carry on having a moment in different ways
  • Dried Flowers are huge right now and I think they will continue to get bigger for a while. Even a mix of real and dried is a popular choice
  • Intimate weddings and elopements – Given the current climate this is to be expected but I think even if larger weddings can go ahead there will be a huge rise in smaller intimate weddings and elopements

As a bespoke stylist i only take on a small number of weddings each year so do get in touch if you’d love to speak.
